Most people tend to underestimate the assets we have in hand. Hence, down play ourselves and let other's win. Power Talking results in taking the maximum benefit from the assets we have in hand.

Take the example of time. This is the most underestimated asset. To start with every second is valuable.

To know the value of 1 year you must ask a child who failed in school and was detained. The one year lost will haunt the child’s entire life.

To know the value of 1 month you must ask a mother whose baby was delivered one month too soon. This very child’s existence would be at stake due to that one month.

To know the value of 1 day ask a daily wage worker. Each day his pay decides if his family would eat or not.

The value of one hour is best known to a business partner who missed his client meeting by an hour. His very company existence is threatened by that one missed hour.

For the value of one minute ask a careless driver who took one during his drive to answer his mobile and is fighting for his life in the hospital.

Thus every moment is precious and not knowing the value we tend to always feel that we never have enough time. Putting the time we have in perspective will help us to communicate with confidence, which improves our ability to succeed.
